REUSE WATER, INDUSTRIAL NON POTABLE & POTABLE REUSE

One of the most significant breakthroughs in wet utility infrastructure is the development of advanced Wastewater treatment technologies. These innovations have revolutionized our ability to treat water efficiently and cost-effectively.
NJSEI offer technical designs for reusing purified wastewater. Avoiding discharges whilst increasing available water at a lower cost is one of the key advantages of wastewater reuse, especially in regions affected by water shortages and drought.

Appropriate ‘BALANCING ACT’ would be ‘RECYCLE and REUSE’ of Wastewater.

This will bring water back for use rather than disposing it considering as a ‘waste’. To recycle the wastewater, we need to choose technology depending on the ‘purpose for which it is recycled’. This will help to cut the cost of recycling. The matrix below will help to understand the relation between the technology need and purpose.

Equation of Technology Requirement and Cost

Technology requirement is directly proportionate to cost means higher the technology requirement higher will be the recycling cost. Therefore, before planning any recycling unit it is necessary to know where the recycle water would be used. Priority should be given to those uses where treatment cost would be least means to irrigation, if there is no need of water for irrigation near the recycling unit then the second options should be selected.
